We live about an hour away but we try to meet most guests when we can. If this isn't possible we will arrange to leave a key out so guests can let themselves in. We like to give our guests space but are always available by phone or email and am happy to assist guests in any way we can.

The studio is full of light and it is conveniently located. The host has a well organized procedure for the check-in. A few things can be easily improved: a better mattress (you can feel the spring coils) and a properly sized towel for the shower....More

For exploring Dublin, the apartment couldn't have been better located. The bus to and from the city centre stopped half a block away going and right across the street coming back, and within three blocks was a Tesco supermarket with a pharmacy on one side...More

About the neighbourhood
This street is a beautifully tree lined street which runs right up the the entrance of the Phoenix Park.
This park is the largest urban park in Europe and houses Dublin Zoo and the presidential home and offices as well as a children's playground. It is a wonderful park to visit and spans over 1750 acres.
The street also has beautiful Victorian red bricked houses all along it which date back to the 18th century so it really is a taste of old Dublin.
There is a major supermarket just 3 minutes walk as well as a pharmacy, bakery, coffee shops, bars, restuarants and many other amenities all within easy walking distance.
Getting around
Guests can reach the city centre on foot in about 30 minutes.

There is an excellent bus service right outside the front door and will reach downtown in 10 - 15 minutes.

Buses are very regular and we recommend getting a Leapcard to make travelling by public transport easier. These are available at numerous outlets around the city and at the airport.
Car not needed
How to get there
Airport: Dublin Airport: 12.0 km
Railway: Heuston station: 2.2 km
Ferry: Dublin port: 3.0 km
We are located around 12km from Dublin airport and it can be reached by public transport by getting the Airlink 747 bus to O'Connell Street and then get the 46a bus (get on at the GPO side of the street) to the Hanlon's corner stop or the Drumalee estate stop.

We are located just across the road at 151 and the house has a red door so it's easily identified.

An airport transfer can be arranged for a fee upon request.

Parking is free on street in front of the house.
