A wonderful fully equipped cottage with virtually non stop red squirrel action. A wide variety of birds were feeding at feeders from first light to last. The cottage is also very convenient for other nearby outdoor attractions. The week we were there was enhanced by 4 days of snow which added to the attractiveness of the setting. James and Kathleen...

Management response:

Thank you Malcolm, we really appreciate what you had to say and are very glad you enjoyed your stay. Red squirrels did their bit too, but be warned they can disappear in the autumn especially as they prefer wild tree and bush seeds to peanuts at that time of the year. Best wishes from Killiecrankie and look forward to seeing...

Looked forward to this holiday since booking it back in Feb and we were not disappointed. The cottage was well appointed and had great little finishing touches such as chocolates, shower accessories, tea and biscuits, bread and milk and some home-made jams - to name a few! Also 2 sets of binoculars, a bat detector and nuts for the squirrels!...

Management response:

Thank you very much for your excellent and comprehensive review, it is really appreciated. It was great having you to stay in Squirrel Cottage and we are pleased you were able to spot the badgers, even though James failed. With our very best wishes, Kathleen and James

Additional Rate and Availability Information
Please note, heating and electricity are extra. You pay exactly for what you use, meter readings are taken when you arrive and you pay the rates we pay, there are no mark ups. We feel this is the fairest way to do this, as some people spend all their time in Squirrel Cottage with heating on to keep them nice and warm; while others spend a lot of time out and about walking and visiting sites. We do not feel it is fair for the low users to subsidize the high users. Hope you agree!
