Redwood's front door leads straight onto the lawn and the back door leads to the covered courtyard. The ground floor has a sitting/dining room with an open fire, a kitchen, a double bedroom and a bathroom with a large roll top bath and w.c.. Upstairs there are two twin bedrooms, one with en-suite toilet and a sofa bed sleeping one, both twin rooms also contain their own sinks. A single bedroom and a seperate shower room and w.c. The cottage has oil fired central heating which is worked on a timer. There are logs available for the fires and fire lighters. Bedding and towels are included in the hire of the cottage, cot, high chair and stair gates are also available on request. Absolutely brilliant holiday and everyone was so helpful. The house was perfect, everything you could ever want and fully exipt. Can’t wait to go back. My dog loved it too.

Really don't know what to say about this cottage. We stayed as my cousin was getting married at Fingask Castle which itself was beautiful and the wedding was lovely. The cottage was very poor and in need of a total refurbishment. The kitchen in particular...More

We have visited the various cottages at Fingask over many years. All are wonderful. Log burning stoves, lots of logs and amazing surroundings.

There are seven Fingask Castle Cottages, ranging from Sir Stuart's House sleeping fourteen to the romantic hideaway, with sauna and rowing boat , known as The Boathouse. Fingask Cottages are set in 100 acre’s of the historic gardens and woods of Fingask Castle, enjoying southerly views to the Firth of Tay and the hills of Fife beyond. The half mile long drive curves up through the wooded glen and crosses Fingask stream on a high arched stone bridge overlooking St Peter’s Well in the dell below. Fingask is truly a magic place! Getting around
Fingask is not on any regular bus routes. The nearest stations are Perth and Dundee, both about 20 minutes away in a car. Edinburgh and Glasgow airports are approximatly 1 hour away. In short you need a car to enjoy this area!
