Built in the 1890's by the 1st Duke of Fife, Easter Kintrae House is now a much loved family home. Kintrae, meaning edge of the tide, explains the position of this warm sandstone house, sitting on a small rise and commanding spectacular views across what was once a sea loch but is now an ocean of barley and wheat.The Lounge and dining room have sandstone fireplaces -crafted from locally quarried stone.The snug, the small sitting room has the 2nd television, DVD and CD player and also a small fireplace.You will then move through to the back of the house where the kitchens are divided into Aga kitchen, fitted kitchen,pantry and a laundry room. A lovely warm spacious family home with a warm welcome from Linda. It was nice the dogs were allowed to come too! Plenty of rooms for people doing their own thing. Great location, short distance from Duffus Castle (good dog walk) and Elgin. We always...More
