The attractive apartment is housed within the ground basement floor of a traditional Inverness Town House dating from the 1860s. The front window of the modernised apartment and the property front garden porch allows some views over the River Ness. The property features many windows allowing light and sunshine into the apartment from all angles. The ground floor apartment is accessed via two small steps down to the patio porch area. The apartment is extremely well insulated and warm regardless of the time of year. Central heating and an additional electric fire within feature fireplace ensure instant heat even on the coldest of Scottish days. The warm apartment offers a very spacious family bathroom with luxurious corner bath and electric power shower, electric shaving socket and light over mirror. The kitchen /dining area offers a traditional ceramic sink with Neff electric induction hobs, single electric oven and grill. Toaster, kettle and all basic kitchen equipment are available within the convenient open plan kitchenette. The spacious apartment offers a large living room with restricted outlooks over the River Ness and restricted outlooks onto the beautiful building of the Ness Bank Church. The main living area has a street view Despite its city centre location the Apartment is peaceful. The apartment's beautiful bedroom is located at the rear of the property offering a quiet night of sleep within a warm and comfortable double sized bed. Light streams into the room highlighting the neutral decor and decorative mantle piece reminiscent of the original period use of the property. The property has an additional bonus of a spring action large double bed sized spring action sofa bed within the large living room. Once set up the sofa bed offers a comfortable sleep due to its sprung base and foam mattress. The spring loaded sofa bed can be quickly transferred back into a sofa for daytime living. The large double sofa bed measures a generous 145cm across when set up. Measurement from the back of sofa to the extended tip of the extended bed is 235cm in length. Once set up the sofa bed still leaves a generous space within the living area. Please let your hosts know if sofa bed is required so additional bed linen can be provided. Dan travel cot as standard. The property boasts a dining table with 4 dining chairs for entertainment plus entertainment systems (digital stereo system, DVD and CD player and smart TV. Wi-fi and internet are available. The apartment offers a separate utility area with washing machine and wall mounted clothes drying racks positioned above radiators from quick drying. This allows your washing and drying to be done separately from the main living spaces within the property. There is a parking space available less than 5 minutes walk from property on the Ness Bank. Luggage can be dropped off at the apartment from directly outside the property upon arrival and then your car parked conveniently on the banks of the River Ness. A free parking permit will be issued upon arrival. The local areas has an abundance of shops, boutiques, cafes, libraries, restaurants and theatre. 2 Tennis courts and clubs are within 15 minutes walk, 2 golf courses are within 30 mins walk and Bellfield Children's Playpark and Lido are 10 minutes walk away. The Local leisure centre hosts indoor climbing, swimming with flumes and a variety of coaches leisure pursuits. A putting green, ice rink, crazy golf and Ness Islands walks are within 25 minutes walk as is the Children's train and boating arena at spacious and popular Whin Park. More

Stayed at view place for the New Year. Comfy flat very handy for centre of town. Lovely walks along the riverside. Flat was clean and amenities were there for cooking if you want to. Small fridge but who wants to cook when super restaurants are...More

Nice flat, great location! Easy lock key entry, great pub on the corner across from the castle. Scenic walk along the river and just a couple blocks from shopping! The only thing I might improve on is the roll out couch in terms of comfort....More

Hazel was great and kept in touch to ensure we were ok, she even had milk in the fridge :) The flat is lovely and we enjoyed sitting at night watching our DVDs with a vino. We were just one street up from the river...More

Took my family for a weekend to Inverness to see friends. The flat is situated in the town centre, ten minutes walk from the bus and train stations. Its easily accessible by car and the parking space is about 50m away. The flat had everything...More

Location fab for walking around the centre of Inverness. Hazel was available for questions and had left milk and cereal which the kids loved. The apartment was really comfortable.

The apartment is 2 mins walk from Inverness Castle (now open to public), 3 mins from the River Ness and 10 mins walk from Eden Court Theatre - ideal for Theatre trips. It is 10 mins walk from Inverness train and bus stations making arrival easy. It is 5 mins walk from the restaurants and bars of Culduthel Road and Castle Street & 5 minutes walk from the many restaurants and bars lining the River Ness. Pre-theatre menus are available in many. The apartment is also 5 minutes walk away from the main Inverness Tourist Information Office. The tourist friendly apartment is on the bus route for the popular tourist sightseeing open topped bus tours of Inverness. Inverness Golf Course is 22 mins walk away & Torvean Golf Course is 27 mins walk.
Getting around
The apartment is nestled right in the centre of the city allowing walking distance to many attractions. The local tourist buses pass the apartment enabling another method of transport around the attractions of the city centre. During the summer months bikes can be hired from locations within 10 minutes walk from the flat.
