The Ordnance Survey map for the area is number 36, Grantown and Aviemore, or the yellow Outdoor Leisure number 3 map, Aviemore and Glen Avon. At the Old Minister’s Guest House in Inverdruie, just before the Rothiemurchus Visitor Centre, turn right and follow the B970; this road is signposted to Loch an Eilein, Insh and Kincraig. After 0.7 miles, on a bend in the road just before the Boring Mill bridg
Getting around
The Cairngorm National Park is a wonderful area of outstanding beauty, a car is essential in order to see it at it's best, although there is plenty of good walking, cycling and skiing close by. A cab can be taken from Aviemore (the nearest train station), but it will limit you during your stay.
