This traditional sandstone Victorian house was formally four fisherman's dwellings with an area in the attic for drying nets. This property has a comfortable and relaxed feel. The property offers a lounge, large kitchen with dining area, one double bedroom, two twin bedrooms, a study, one main shower room,a smaller shower room downstairs and one further W.C. There is a mains wired fire detection system. There is a large, private, enclosed, patio garden to the rear of the property with garden furniture and BBQ. This property offers all of St. Andrews many attractions on its doorstep.

This was our 2nd stay at this cottage and it was pleasing to see the carpets and some furniture items has been renewed. It is a nice little cottage and it needed the new carpets. We had some great weather so we enjoyed the courtyard....More

Getting to St. Andrews. Arriving by train, Leuchars is the closest station. It is five miles away. There are normally taxis waiting and there is also a regular bus service to St. Andrews which runs in conjunction with the arrival of the trains. Arriving by car, From Edinburgh, head for the Forth Road Bridge , then join the M90 and stay on this road until junction 2A signposted Glenrothes, Kircaldy, this will take you on to the A92 where you can then follow the signs for St. Andrews. From Glasgow, leave Glasgow on the M8 and head for the Kincardine Bridge, once over the Kincardine Bridge take the A985 and head for Glenrothes, Kircaldy, this will take you on to the A92 where you can then follow the signs for St. Andrews.
