2 Chester St is a large historic Town House with ornate stairwell and cupola. All of the rooms have been recently refurbished - many decorated with old etchings, original art and old photographs of Edinburgh from the Scotsman archive.

The living room, equipped with new flat screen television and table football, also boasts an antique ormolu chandelier, plus views onto the beech trees of Drumsheugh Gardens, while the kitchen has recently been re-floored with travertine laminate. The large wooden kitchen dining table seats 12.

A Conran Shop Table football, two music systems (kitchen and living room), and super fast Wi-Fi add to the fun atmosphere in the house. And a very large boiler at the top of the building ensures a plentiful supply of hot water to the two bathrooms (both with showers and baths) and 3 separate WCs in the building.

Getting in: There is a Masterlock Box outside the house containing the keys. When you book the house I supply the code for the box. If there is a problem the cleaner is not far away.
