Great kitchen! Comfortable beds. Great bathrooms. Fair warning, there is late-night noise from pub closings and trash collection. 2 of the 3 bedrooms are on the street side. Also, since it is a very old bldg, there is a small winding staircase up 4 flights. We unpacked things in the entryway in order to get our luggage upstairs. Manager did...

The apartment was perfect for my family of 5. Plenty of space with the 3 very nice bedrooms, 2 clean bathrooms and great kitchen and living room space for us all to gather. Our apartment was in the centre of the city in the middle of a street called the Royal Mile - which actually seems to be several streets that make up the stretch between Holyrood Palace and Park and Edinburgh Castle. We could easily walk to pretty much everything we wanted to see within about 10 minutes or less. The apartment...

About the neighbourhood
The Royal Mile is Edinburgh's most famous street. The flat is located on the High Street in the centre of the Royal Mile. This is the hub of Edinburgh's city centres, just minutes walk away from Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace, Edinburgh's most famous art galleries and museums, Harvey Nichols and many other attractions.
Getting around
Most of Edinburgh's major tourist attractions are within walking distance of the apartment but for places that are a bit further we recommend Edinburgh's bus system for getting around. You can get a bus to most destinations in the city from Princes Street which is 5 minutes walk from the flat.

There is also a taxi rank outside the Radisson Blu hotel which is located on the Royal Mile just a few minutes walk from the flat, or you can hail a cab on the streets around the city.

Uber is also operating in Edinburgh.

On-street parking is difficult in the centre of Edinburgh but there is 24-hour parking in the car park attached to the Radisson Blu hotel just a few minutes from the apartment that is open to the public.
