Enjoy our luxury, two person holiday apartment near Melrose and Selkirk in the Scottish Borders. The Apartment is self contained with private entrance and garden, but we are on hand to help in the main house if needed.

Set in an elevated position above a small hamlet there are long views over rolling countryside with grazing livestock and woodland all round. There are views to Cheviot and Carter Bar approximately 25 miles away. Garden birds include pheasant and partridge.

The comfortable, bright, open-plan, first floor apartment is adjacent to our home. External stairs lead from the ample parking space to the garden and entrance. There is a spacious, L shaped, open plan living room with dining area and kitchen. The separate bedroom has a super king size double bed. There is an en-suite shower room with toilet.

Jack and Jane were fabulous hosts and the accommodations were fantastic. The surrounding area is extremely scenic and wildlife are abound. Centrally located, which made touring the Scottish Borders, Hadrians Wall, and south-east England very easy. Thank you for a great stay!

The flat was self contained in a rural location with fabulous views. It was very modern with all accessories of the highest specifications. We enjoyed the peace and quiet along with the comfortable bed! Nearby Selkirk was full of history and historical characters. St Boswells...More

There are activities for everyone nearby, including historic houses at Abbotsford, Mellerstain and Floors Castle etc., abbeys, museums and shops in local towns. The more active can enjoy walking, cycling, golf, fly fishing, horse riding or shooting. Local roads are very quiet. It is 4 miles to the local shops and about 2 miles to the nearest pubs and restaurants.

Local events include Common Ridings in all the towns, walking festivals, Melrose Book Festival, Historic Cars, Jim Clark Rally, Music Festivals, Rugby Sevens, art shows and open studios.
