About the neighbourhood
The wonderful Scottish Borders is beautiful peaceful and totally unspoilt, with its wide open spaces, of hills, moors, and lush green pastures. The textile town of Hawick is in walking distance of Wiltonburn via the award winning Wilton park and Museum. There are plenty of goods restaurants and the town is famous for its Cashmere knitwear shops. We have our own, Wiltonburn Country Cashmeres here on the farm.
How to get there
Take the A7 out of Hawick heading south towards Carlisle for one mile. Turn right onto the B711 Roberton Road, then immediately right again. Follow the road along the riverside, keeping left around corner, and continuing on through a 'No Through Road' sign for a further mile to the end of the road. Turn right at the end of the track and the white farmhouse is on the right. Please park in car park front of Wiltonburn Country Cashmere shop, and do not turn in at Briery Hill even if 'Sat Nav' tells you too!
