Evishatrask cottage has a very spacious ground floor kitchen/living/dining area, fitted with a kitchen with electric cooker and grill, microwave oven and all necessary cooking and dining equipment.

The room has a pine table and chairs by the patio doors that open to a barbeque area. There is 2 two seater sofa, 2 arm chairs and inset seat by the fireplace this is suitable for sleeping 1 extra persons, the area is also fitted with a pellet burning stove room heater.

There are 3 rooms with king & single beds, 1 room with en-suite, 1 room with bathroom on the ground floor and 1 room on the first floor . The twin rooms on the ground floor with en-suite is wheelchair accessible.

Great stay here. Lovely staff and great food at the visitor centre. A few minor tweaks could make this a 5 star rating. Water pressure problems, a few minor bathroom issues like grouting or sealing around the bath and doors not closing but everything else...More

Take the M2 motorway from Belfast. Travel through the towns of Toomebridge, Magherafelt and Moneymore to Cookstown.
From Cookstown take the A505 road to Omagh.
Travel 13 ½ miles to Creggan Crossroads (Vivo shop & filling station on right hand side)
Travel 100 metres past filling station and take first exit on right to An Creagán Visitor Centre (large stone pillars at entrance)


Travelling from: Dublin/Newry

Travel north via M1 to Newry and pass through the towns of Armagh, Moy, and Dungannon to Cookstown. From here directions are as before.

Travel north via Sligo, Bundoran and Belleek to Omagh.
