Ballycastle, County Antrim, Northern Ireland
Breen Cottage stands in the midst of beautiful countryside in Glenshesk, one of the nine Glens of Antrim. With no close neighbours - unless you count the sheep in neighbouring fields! - it is a truly tranquil and private retreat and yet just six miles from the pretty, bustling seaside town of Ballycastle with its excellent sandy beach, marina, golfing, fishing, excellent restaurants and lively pubs.

It is just over two miles from the lovely village of Armoy , semi finalist in the UK Village of the Year 2018. Visit the welcoming Armada Inn for good food and friendly company.

The cottage is the perfect location for exploring the beautiful Causeway Coast and Glens.
Belfast is also accessible being just an hours drive.
If you are a Game of Thrones fan, the cottage is about eight miles from the Dark Hedges made famous in the Game of Thro...

We welcome dogs as long as they are well behaved. The cottage is set in a farming area and there are often sheep and cows in the neighbouring fields , therefore it is very important both for the welfare of the farm animals and the dogs themselves that they are do not enter these fields.
