This contemporary semi-detached stone barn conversion is situated on the small holding 'Tŷ Hen Henllys' with stunning coastal, mountain and countryside views. On a clear day you can see Bardsey Island, Lleyn Peninsula, and from the patio you can see for over 30 miles, stretching from Aberdovey along the Dovey Estuary to Cadair Idris and beyond.


Bwlch Cliced has been decorated and furnished to a very good standard giving particular consideration to local heritage and history, our furnishings and artwork are carefully chosen on the theme of wool, in particular the Welsh Garthen (tapestry blanket) which were produced in a variety of patterns and colours.

We had a relaxing week hottub was amazing fantastic views from the cottage and beach was only 5 minutes away would recommend this cottage to everyone ☺

Absolutly fabulous break weather amazing well equipped cottage and the owner friendly and welcoming, the sun set was taken from the bedroom window of the cottage the beach is Aberdovey Thank you Roy

Located on a small- holding, just above the village of Tal-y-bont, this is a great place to stay for couples or families. The sheep are right outside the back door and make great eye-contact with you, when they know it is coming up for feeding-time!...More

How to get there
Take the A487 to Talybont from Machynlleth (11 miles). As you enter the village of Talybont, pass the housing estate on the right - then take the first turning to the right. Follow this lane, past the children's playground on your left, and then carry on bearing right out of the village for about half a mile. Pass the forestry entrance on your left, then the house on your left. Immediately after the house, you will see the sign for 'Tyhen Henllys' at the bottom of the lane leading up to 'Bwlch Cliced'

Take the A487 to Talybont from Aberystwyth (7 miles). You will see the two pubs on the village green, carry on, after passing the petrol station, take the 1st left up a narrow lane (opposite the telephone kiosk). Carry on and out...
