Our property is ideally situated for all Goodwood events.
'Crockfords' has an attractive south facing walled garden with perennial borders and a patio with gas BBQ and outdoor dining area. There are other sheltered seating areas around the garden, and a driveway to the side of the property with ample parking for two/three cars.

The ground floor has two receptions rooms, both with French doors opening onto the outside patio area. There is a country style kitchen with modern appliances, with an open aspect leading into a dining room. Off the entrance lobby there is a utility room and toilet/shower room. The cosy sitting room features an ingle nook stove and an original timber-framed wall. The second reception/television room also has a log-burning stove.

Facilities are good. Well appointed house. Comfortable for 6. Having blankets available to substitute for heavy duvets would make sleeping more comfortable on hot nights. It is very close to an exceedingly busy road, thus noise in the bedrooms is inevitable if the windows are...More

Thank you for taking the tome to write a review. The cottage is on an A road as indicated on the website. However all roadside windows are triple glazed. In two of the bedrooms the windows can be opened onto the back of the cottage...More

The house is well situated with a pub within walking distance. It's a lovely home, with good quality furnishings and every bit of equipment you could possibly need. I'd imagine it would be very cosy in the winter with the wood burners. The garden though...More

4 The logs for the stove and fire, stored inside, are included. Additional logs are charged at £15 per basket.

'Crockfords' is in the village of Halnaker close to the historic walled city of Chichester. Situated in a conservation area on the edge of the South Downs National Park and is close to the historic Goodwood Motor Racing Circuit, Racecourse and Country Estate.

Our home has views over the Tinwood Vineyard and Boxgrove Priory, which dates back to the 12th Century. Close to many public footpaths and bridleways, it is ideally located for hikers, cyclists, motor enthusiasts or those just wanting to explore all that Chichester and the surrounding area has to offer.
