Great place in Arundel
Great location (with off road parking which is a massive plus); the place had everything we needed for our stay and Caroline was the perfect host. We will return!

Fabulous River Cottage with Parking Space
Lovely bright modern house overlooking the river. The south facing back yard was ideal for basking in the sunshine and watching the fast flowing river only a few feet away behind the safety of a wall. It was fascinating to note how the current changed direction during the day.
The kitchen was modern and very well equipped with built in double oven, microwave, dish washer and washing machine.
The accommodation was very spacious and inviting. The central heating if needed was very efficient.
The added bonus for Arundel was an allocated parking space at the front of the house. Ideal for just leaving the car and walking a short distant to the Castle and all the amenities that Arundel has to offer.
Caroline was a delight to make contact with and nothing was too much trouble for her. She made everything clear and with her quick responses to any queries we may have had. Thank you so much Caroline, very much appreciated.

A Comfortable, Well-Positioned Holiday Home
This was our third visit to River Cottage over the last ten years. It’s in a great position for walking into the lovely town of Arundel which is full of independent coffee shops and restaurants.
It’s about fifteen minutes walk to the train station, so great for trips into London - we went to see a show! - or to Brighton or Chichester - all worth exploring.
River Cottage itself is clean and bright - we always find it to be very peaceful. The beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms are well stocked with toiletries and towels, and the kitchen has a good range of appliances, utensils, crockery etc.
Overall - it was great, and I’m sure we’ll be back.

very good accomodation
Clean and airy rooms with bonus of veranda to back area overlooking the river. we used it as base for touring, as it is easy to reach Weald and Downland Museum, Portsmouth Dockyard and Brighton Pavilion, even before we visited Arundel castle which is a very interesting visit.

Home from Home
A great place to stay, the house was modern with parking . Shops, pub and restaurants are All in walking distance.
I would highly recommend and look forward to going back next year.

Highly recommended (but please keep one week per year for me to come back)
River Cottage is in a perfect, accessible location not far from the main road and in a lovely river setting with riverside country walks directly outside. Just a few minutes walk into the lovely town.
The house is clean and modern and exactly what I was looking for and absolutely no disappointments.
Our host, Caroline, was kindly very flexible and helped us out when we needed.
I'll gladly book again

Lovely riverside cottage
Lovely cottage on the outskirts of the town, easy walk into Arundel but close to main roads. Very well equipped, very clean and tidy. Easy access to river walk to Littlehampton, or just watch the river ebb and flow from the cottage. Great base for visiting the area or walking the South Downs Way. Very helpful owner.

Great location
Lovely clean and comfortable house, perfectly placed just a short walk from the town centre. Ideal location for exploring the surrounding area with places like Chichester, Littlehampton and Bognor just a handful of miles away. Arundel itself is a lovely town. The house has a nice riverside spot and was pretty much perfect. Simple and un-fussy. Thank you!!

Lovely modern home
The house was spotlessly clean. Roomy too. Very quiet.
Nice touches from the friendly owner-gorgeous hand soap, shower gel , towells etc.
Parking spot right outside.
Nice to watch the rise and fall of the river from the lounge or bedroom .
Highly recommend Arundel as a good town to stay in for a short break.

Very comfortable cottage close to everything that we needed
From the beginning when we made enquiries the responses were received within 1/2 an hour and were clear.
The cottage itself was excellent - all amenities well provided along with the welcoming items. The owner - Caroline - also messaged us on the day of arrival to ask whether everything was in order and if we had any questions. In our experience of renting properties - going back some 30 years this is the first time this has happened. It demonstrated to us the care that Caroline takes in her lettings.
We have nothing but praise for everything connected to our stay.
