Located approximately 5 minutes walk from the very centre of town, this lovely period cottage sleeps up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. This cottage is perfect for families or groups of friends looking for a comfortable yet relaxed break in the castle town of Arundel with easy access to fabulous walks over the South Downs and less than 5 miles from the coast to enjoy sunny days at the seaside. The lower ground floor of Ashby Cottage has a modern, well equipped open plan kitchen/dining room area (with 2 sofas and open fire) which leads straight out onto a pretty garden with outside seating and BBQ area. There is a toilet on this floor. The ground floor has a comfortable sitting room and there is also a twin bedroom on this floor with ensuite shower room/toilet. Please leave the house in a clean and tidy condition at the end of your stay with all washing up done and bins out. This holiday let house does not come with household basics so you please add tea, coffee, toilet roll etc to your shopping list. There is a travel cot at the house if you need one but you will need to bring all sheets and bedding to suit your baby.

Really nice house although ‘86 year old mother did struggle with the stairs .very Clean and well equipped to a high standard . Plenty of eating places , castle and gardens great just up the street . Good base for visiting beaches and other towns...More

Lovely weekend here in January. Amazing location just a few minutes walk to the town centre, cathedral and castle but still so quiet. Clean, spacious and very comfortable. The downstairs open plan living area is fabulous. Highly recommend - will definitely return

Arundel is a wonderful place for all ages to enjoy with the majestic Arundel Castle, imposing Cathedral, museum, and antique shops all within a few minutes’ walk of the town centre. The children will love the boat rides from the centre of town, the lido, mini golf and boating down at Swanbourne lake. There are a wealth of places of interest and fun days out in the area from the magnificent Petworth Park to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard to the archaeological wonders of Fishbourne Palace or the World’s most glamorous racing events at Goodwood. For those who love shopping a trip to Brighton is a must and for those who enjoy live theatre Chichester Festival Theatre is renowned for staging some of the best plays before they move to London.
