Absolutely great! Perfect location, pet friendly, the cottage was clean and cosy. Lovely card & gifts left by jan. Will defiantly be staying here again.

About the neighbourhood
Brassknocker Cottage offers an excellent base for sight seeing being less than four miles from the tourist mecca of Stratford upon Avon.The Shakespeare properties, Mary Arden's Farm, Anne Hathaway's Cottage and Ragley Hall are nearby. (Please visit the 'Discover' section of the Exclusively Warwickshire website for more information on places to visit) There are also a number of great antique shops and cafes.

The area is blessed with a multitude of fine pubs including The Blue Boar Inn at Temple Grafton (less than five minutes walk from the property), The Bell Inn (named 'Best Dinning Pub in Warwickshire 2016 & 2017) at Welford on Avon (3 miles away) and the quirky riverside pub The Fish at Wixford (3.5 miles) to name but a few!
Getting around
Being rural, there is no public transport in the vicinity of the cottage (the closest BR Stations are in Stratford upon Avon and Wilmcote, both 4 miles from the cottage) so a car is advisable. A list of local taxi firms is included in the cottage's information file. There is plenty of scenic cycling country around the cottage so why not bring a bike?
