About the neighbourhood
If you are looking for a day off from driving you can explore the village and its 13th century church, cottages and Roman road Ryknild Street then have lunch in one of the village pubs. If the weather is good, cross the ancient bridge to the Big Meadow and have a picnic or walk the Avon Valley Footpath to Stratford and catch the bus back - allow a full day to get the most out of it. You pass through Barton and Welford on the way with a chance to water at the pubs there. There are several geocaches in the area for those who partake. If you fancy messing about on the river, hire a boat for the day from Bidford Boats. There are various fairs and activities held at the Big Meadow during the year (including the annual duck race) and the village has a rural cinema 2 Fridays a month at the Crawfo...
Getting around
Within walking distance of bus stops to Evesham, Stratford and Birmingham. Village is just off the A46 for easy access by car.
