Number 24 (No.24) is located on Lavenham's historic high street which once saw the hustle and bustle of the village's famous wool trade. Now a days on the high street, you'll find quirky shops and delicious foodie treats all set in the wonderful crooked buildings. The house has been fully renovation from top to bottom. I have a meticulous eye for detail and I have only selected beautifully designed furnishings. My vision has always been to make guests feel like they experience luxury hotel touches, but in the comfort of a home. With this in mind, at No.24 you'll find large Egyptian cotton towels, bathrobes, luxury Cowshed toiletries, crystal glassware, and a coffee machine, but you'll also find home comforts like cosy throws, cooking books and all the kitchen equipment you could need...Number 24 (No.24) is located on Lavenham's historic high street which once saw the hustle and bustle of the village's famous wool trade. My vision has always been to make guests feel like they experience luxury hotel touches, but in the comfort of a home. With this in mind, at No.24 you'll find large Egyptian cotton towels, bathrobes, luxury Cowshed toiletries, crystal glassware, and a coffee machine, but you'll also find home comforts like cosy throws, cooking books and all the kitchen equipment you could need to make delicious dinners. For families, I can provide a stair gate, high chair, travel cot, fluffy baby towel, suitable cups/plates etc for little ones and a selection of toys. Please do let me know in advance if you need these as I don't store these bits at No.24. No.24's ground floor is open plan, with high ceilings, you'll find; a lounge, brand new kitchen with solid oak worktops, and diner that opens onto the sunny courtyard garden that has a table for four. The courtyard leads on to the private parking space, which is a real bonus for Lavenham as parking can be in demand with the village being so popular for visitors. There is also a small cloakroom downstairs. There is a fabulous new heating system, but if you're like me and love a glass of wine by the fire, you can use the log burner in the lounge. From October - March, kindling, logs and lighting equipment will be left out for you to use. You should be quite toasty! In the lounge there is also comfy seating, a Smart TV and free wifi. Upstairs is a bathroom (large shower, toilet and sink unit) with Cowshed toiletries (as seen in top London hotels) for you to use during your stay - will you choose to be relaxed or invigorated? As there is no bath I can provide a baby bath for little ones. Bedroom one has a super king bed and dressing table, and as a treat you can watch TV in bed. Bedroom two has two small single beds which can be made into a king on request. The Cowshed pillow mist should help you drift off to a wonderful night's sleep. If you're looking for peace and relaxation, there are some beautiful walks around Lavenham, in particular I would recommend the Lavenham to Long Melford railway walk. If you have a well trained, small dog you're welcome to bring them along to enjoy your break, please do let me know in advance though so I can make sure your pups stay is as comfy as yours. Lavenham is well connected to surrounding towns and villages with a bus service, the bus stop is just a few minutes walk away. Information will be available at the house. To top all this off, I'll leave a welcome basket for you with some bits to get you started and some treats.More
