• Please leave the cottage tidy. We charge £20 for a longer than normal clean.
• We set the fire and stock the inside baskets with wood. Additional nights cost £4 for winter fire.
• No loud noise or parties
• The staircase is very steep - pse take care
• No pets on furniture/beds, please tidy up their wee/poo
• Please prevent dog/cat wee on the lawn as it causes burn marks. Put water on immediately to dilute.
• When muddy please wipe shoes before walking on carpet as the carpet is brand new.
We spent three great days (two adults and two kids) at this very nice and comfy cottage. Everything was clean and tidy and it was perfectcly located for visiting Lavenham and other nice Suffolk villages. I'd definitely come back!

About the neighbourhood
Lavenham has much to offer visitors:The National Trust Guildhall of Corpus Christi and the Little Hall in Market Square, the large church of Saints Peter and Paul. Harry Potter's house in Godric’s Hollow. Wonderful restaurants, cafes, and pubs and a vibrant little High Street and Market Square. 3 small supermarkets, a butcher shop, a bakery, an ice-cream parlour, pharmacy, clothes and gifts shops and galleries. A library, a great children’s playground, a tennis club, a tourist centre and a mobile post office. Many events - a literary festival, a Christmas fair, a summer fete, open garden days, music events, regular farmers markets. Good base to explore Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridge, even into London.
Getting around
You can easily walk and take busses between villages. Use of a car is great to explore deeper into neighbouring areas but NOT needed for Lavenham as everything outside your door.
