Upon arrival, guests can let themselves in, using the key locker code sent to them with the booking confirmation details. Guests can come and go as they please throughout their stay, and may see us when we make our daily check of the hot tub, normally between 6pm & 7pm. Arrival can be any time after 4pm, departure needs to be before 10am.

Lodge was brilliant, Bury Saint Edmunds was too. My wife had too leave early because she had a bad back, but, the time we stayed was brilliant!

Stayed here for my cousins wedding in April, was over the moon when we walked in to the lodge. Beautiful lodge, well cleaned and looked after. Private garden & hot tub. We loved it & are returning in August! Would recommend to anyone!

About the neighbourhood
Stanton is ideally situated in the middle of East Anglia, between the market towns of Bury St. Edmunds and Diss, amongst other attractive Suffolk villages where cottages are often painted and many still are thatched. One of the best served villages locally, Stanton has a village stores, two bakers, an excellent farm shop (with delicatessen), a farmers market, cafe and restaurant (all at Wyken Vineyards), a village pub, a petrol station, hardware shop and post office. The adjoining village of Ixworth has two pubs, both serving food, a library (internet access), a cafe and a village stores, whilst in the other direction, Walsham le Willows boasts Rolfe's the Butcher, 'Suffolks Best Butcher' which also sells groceries, cold meats and cheeses. Walking in Suffolk isn't at all strenuous due to ...
Getting around
Use of a car is recommended as we are in Suffolk countryside. However, we are close to a bus route and pick-up from our nearest train station (Thurston) can also be arranged. There are several country walks nearby and we also have cycles to borrow upon request.
