Condo/Apartment
Bath's characterful Georgian buildings situated in another amazing location in the very centre of Bath, just behind the major shopping areas and around the corner from the Roman Baths themselves. It is a 2 minute walk to the new Thermae Bath Spa! This is a very spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment which begins on the second floor of this graceful building and offers views over one of the oldest streets in Bath, Old Orchard Street, where the original Theatre Royal was once located. The lovely master bedroom has a king-sized painted brass and iron bed and a large shower room en-suite. Upstairs in the second bedroom, the beds can be arranged as a super-king or twin beds, depending on your requirements. This second bedroom also has a pretty en-suite bathroom. What makes Jack's flat remarkable is how the building's period features blend so well with its chic modern decor. This is a wonderful flat, spread over two floors, providing both romance and luxury as well as all the comfort and roominess you might need for a family get-away. Naturally, Jack has sleek wide screen TV & sound system with Netflix movies and Airplay from your smart devices, as well as free WIFI and a washer-dryer. To add to the mix, there is a gracious communal patio garden at the back of the building that is accessible to all the residents in these ancient buildings and is a perfect spot for sipping your sparkling wine after a long day of shopping or site seeing. Jack's Place is a delightful and spacious apartment, perfect for families or friends travelling together, or for a romantic city break. PARKING: This property has one parking permit for the central zone. Children are welcome in Jack's as long as they and their parents are well behaved.More

Location was perfect. It was a bit noisy at night. There is construction behind the home and the windstorm flapped the tarp about. Nothing that could have been done and no one's fault. The stove on the other hand, was not working well. 2 burners...More

About the neighbourhood
Bath is the only place in England with real hot springs and since the dawn of time it has been the healing centre for England. The Romans did not discover the springs, but they made good use of them. They arrived in the area around 45 A.D., after sweeping across Europe, and were delighted to find the healing mineral hot springs and the gorgeous location for them to start a settlement. And settle they did! This location had everything to offer, from the natural hot mineral springs, to the verdant wooded hills, giving shelter, game, and necessary resources such as lead and coal. In addition, the settlement had its own Clairvoyant or Seer, so that the new city, called Aquae Sulis, became a spiritual centre as well. This was a big city, like Rome, with stone walls, stone buildings with deco...
How to get there
Travel to Bath: Bath is easy to access from all over the UK and the world. TRAINS: I always suggest taking the train to Bath. Once in Bath you can walk to all the sites (Bath is only 1/2 mile across) and you can take small van tours to neighbouring sites. High speed, direct train services operated by First Great Western link Bath Spa train station to London and its major airports. Bath Spa train station is well situated, just 5 minutes level walk into the city centre's main shopping and tourist areas. See: www.firstgreatwestern.co.uk AIRPORTS: Bristol International Airport is just 15 miles from Bath and operates direct flights from New York and Orlando in the USA, as well as most major European and UK airports. An express bus service to Bristol Temple Meads train station operates t...
