Nice aprtment and very central. Though it’s a 2bedroom flat yet it successfully accommodated our group of 7 flawlessly. The checkin with guest manager run smoothly. Commendable!

About the neighbourhood
A short walk from Waterloo station and the Old Vic theatre, Lower Marsh is a historic south London street in transition. Built (as its name suggests) on former marshland, it has been home to a street market since the mid-nineteenth century, and in the past decade the underrated Zone 1 enclave has embraced the first flush of gentrification.

Don’t panic: charity shops and greasy-spoon caffs remain, though you’ll now find them in between trendy coffee shops, quirky independent retailers and some cute places to grab a drink. On weekdays, workers from nearby offices flock to a long line of food stalls offering cheap eats from all over the world, and a new branch of the super-fancy Hoxton Hotel chain is being built just around the corner on Wate
Getting around
You have around 10 bus lines and 4 Underground lines from Waterloo. Getting a taxi is easy and you have access to boats at London Eye pier.
Getting around in London, especially from a central location like this is fairly easy.

Depending on your preferences, you can take bus, tube (underground trains), taxi or Uber.

G-maps would be a good guide to find the right bus or train. I would usually recommend taking a double-decker buses because you can see a lot more of the city. For longer distances, the tube might be a better option but it can be very crowded at rush hours.

Taxi can be stuck in traffic too, but with lots to carry, that is often a good option.
