A pleasant apartment in a prime Chelsea location near the river and the King’s Road with its fabulous choice of shops and restaurants. General: One bedroom flat on the second floor of a well maintained apartment block with a lift. Decor: Traditional English decor with contemporary kitchen and bathroom. Receptions: The sitting room has a pleasant Edwardian look with comfortable seating and some antique touches, and a leafy view of the splendid trees outside. TV with a selection of Freeview channels. Kitchen: The good sized kitchen is also bright and well organized. It has an electric cooker, fridge/freezer and a washer/dryer plus a small breakfast table with a chair. As close to perfect as we have seen!

I'm going to hate myself after this review. Why? Because we will never be able to rent this wonderful flat again because all of YOU will be there. Sigh. This was "pitch perfect" for us. Quiet. Did I mention that it was quiet? In London?...More

A favoured residential area between the King’s Road and the river, with red brick Georgian and Victorian mansions and period homes, garden squares and tree-lined streets. Chelsea is a historic part of London that has long attracted lovers of style and beauty, and there is no shortage of shopping possibilities, designer outlets and gourmet delights to find in the neighbourhood and along the King’s Road. Just off Sloane Square is the new Duke of York Square, with some big-name boutiques and the Saatchi Gallery of modern art. The apartment is close to the site of the famous Chelsea Flower Show that takes place every May. A stroll along the Embankment provides some river views for a refreshing change of scene
