Holiday Rental House
A turn of the century house with a private garden located in the centre of Coniston, 2 minutes stroll from village shops, pubs, and restaurants. A short walk to the shores of Coniston Water and a stones throw from the fells and footpaths. Views of the Old Man and Yewdale Crags from the house and garden. The house is spread over three floors and has been completely refurbished to a high standard. The stairs are very steep to the first floor. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is located in front of the garage along the side. We have refurbished, decorated and furnished the house as a home as though we were intending to live there and so you should find every comfort needed for great holiday. All the beds are new and extremely comfortable, the house is furnished with quality furniture and the kitchen equipped with everything you should need including an espresso coffee machine and milk frother. Good quality pans and oven ware allow you to cook the perfect meal if you want to eat in. The bathrooms are well equipped and both showers have excellent water pressure. You really could park the car and not need it all week. A real get away. More

About the neighbourhood
The views from the house and garden are incredible, we find it impossible not to delight at the morning sun lighting up Yewdale Crags when you pull back the curtains, when you step out of the back door you can't help but glance up to the fells. If you sit in the garden you'll undoubtedly end up studying the endless cliffs and crags of the Old Man whilst all the time you will hear Church Beck rushing off to Coniston Water.
Getting around
A car is useful but you can arrive by train into Windermere and catch the bus into Coniston, this drops you at the end of the road. Once you are here you can explore the area on foot, we will send you some walks that you can do from the door or a short drive away. The house has walking books and maps to help you plan.
