Welcoming and relaxed it is perfect for a house party of family and friends and offers peace and serenity whilst only a mile from a pretty village. It has 5 double bedrooms all with en-suite facilities sleeping 10 with an additional 2 on pull out beds. Maximum 12 guests. Outside there is a lovely terrace with an outdoor pool and sun loungers which makes it an ideal summer getaway whilst the numerous open fires and wood burner ensure a warm cosiness in the winter. Would just like to say, what a fantastic weekend we have had at Springfield Country House, it really is beautiful, from the welcome, to interior design, the views, the appliances, the size of the rooms, the gardens, the comfort of the beds, the cleanliness of the house, its just perfect and the house had everything we could of wished for....

Just got back from this fabulous place and will definitely be planning another visit this year. The home owner was extremely helpful and we received a warm welcome on arrival. The house itself is absolutely immaculate with magnificent views and great facilities in a fantastic location. Definitely worth a visit

We booked this large house to accommodate 6 adults and 5 children ( 8-13 ) and it did not disappoint- lots of room for everyone. We were celebrating our golden wedding anniversary and managed to get ourselves snowed in, no one could leave until Monday- a day off school ! Joan was on site and we found her very pleasant...

Rendcomb is a small village with a post office and shop that sells all the essentials. You can walk to three pubs and there is a pub on Friday nights in the village hall.

The House is set at the top of a valley listed as an area of outstanding natural beauty.

The views are spectacular, toast your toes in front of the fire while watching the weather role up the valley, in the summer stand in the warm swimming pool watch deer in the valley with the sun on their backs lazing around.
Getting around
The nearest station is Kemble a 15minute drive, always lots of taxis' A bus leaves the village daily
You can hire bikes.
However to look around the Cotswold it is advisable to have a car.

Airport: Birmingham you can land a helicopter on the lawn.: 30.0 km
Railway: kemble: 6.0 km
Turn into Rendcomb, drive through the village and out again, up the hill pass the playing fields on your left, look out for two black wheelie bins on your right
turn into the drive and follow down to the parking area about a quarter of a mile. There is a private tennis court
