Steam Railway Cottage is a two storey detached cottage which is adjacent to The Swanage Steam Railway in the heart of the town. It is ideally situated just 500 yards from the town centre and beach. It can accommodate up to 4 adults and 2 children plus a baby and comprises of 3 bedrooms, the main has a king size double bed with an en suite which has a walk in shower, the second bedroom also has a double bed and is adjacent to the family bathroom and the third bedroom has bunk beds. All bedrooms have wardrobes and drawer units for storage. The family bathroom has a bath with a shower over. There is another toilet on the ground floor. The kitchen has built in appliances including oven and gas hob, washing machine, fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. Also there is a hi-fi system with Ipod docking station plus free Wifi. There is a sunny courtyard garden with chairs and table. The cottage has it's own integral garage for parking and there is space in front of the garage for additional parking – parking space is at a premium in Swanage! The house is double glazed throughout and has gas central heating. The house is ideal for families, walkers, cyclists, steam enthusiasts, children who love steam trains and not forgetting the lovely sandy beaches! The cottage is 50 yards from the steam train engine shed which has an observation area where you can sit and watch the trains. The station is just a short stroll away. More

A few minutes from the supermarkets, shops and beach with the bonus of watching the steam trains on the heritage railway. The two double bedrooms suited our family group, we did not need the bunkbed room, and the lounge was great to watch the the...More

A friendly town to stay in and the stunning walks. The location to the towns attractions was perfect. I would recommend Swanage as a holiday centre

Lovely few days in a beautiful house. Everything is of the highest standard. Well equipt kitchen. Lots of lovely places to visit from here.
