Just moments from the beach, this exceptionally well presented townhouse is located approximately 125m from Southbourne-On-Sea cliff top. Set just behind the coast road, it provides a modern and relaxing retreat. The property is wonderfully light and bright, with a partial double-height ceiling in the lounge/diner looking seawards through large southerly facing windows and balcony. Sea glimpses from the first and second floors in-between and over roof-tops and vegetation. LOCAL AREA: The beach caters for both dog owners (turn left) and those who prefer no dogs (turn right) during peak months. It is a super position for long walks along the blue flag sandy beaches or promenade towards Boscombe and Bournemouth to the west, or turn east for the stunning Hengistbury Head Nature Reserve on the mouth of Christchurch harbour and exclusive beach huts on Mudeford sand spit. Local facilities within a short walk include an early-late opening supermarket, laundrette and café/restaurants. Nearby Southbourne High Street provides further dining options as well as a number of bespoke shops. The historic priory town of Christchurch is around 5 minutes drive, with its ruined castle, restored 900 year old Place Mill, scenic walks along the Town Quay with the very many swans and the river boat traffic adding to the atmosphere. Bournemouth town centre on the other hand offers more of the hustle and bustle that you would expect of this famous seaside resort with countless restaurants, cafes, bars, shopping facilities, gardens and tourist attractions. For those active visitors among you, the Surf School at Boscombe pier is very accessible either along the long stretch of promenade or by car just a few minutes away. This property should please visitors looking for a quieter location whilst still benefiting from easy access to a wide range of local attractions, facilities and activities. THE DESTINATION: Holidays are special! They form many of the best life memories and provide a rare opportunity for FREEDOM. Freedom to relax, play, breath and choose, what you want to do and when you want to do it. At Bournecoast we give you freedom of choice by offering an impressive selection of Self Catering accommodation in one of the most beautiful destinations in the United Kingdom. Dorset is a very popular holiday destination all year round. It offers beautiful rolling countryside, dramatic scenery, charming market towns, character villages and miles of some of the finest sandy beaches in the UK. Bournemouth lies to the east of the county and offers seven miles of blue flag beaches. It is near the market town of Christchurch with its 11th century Priory Church, ruined castle and Saxon mill, and the stunning medieval New Forest. The area caters for diverse interests, the popular buzzing beach resort in Bournemouth with its vibrant nightlife; the gentler pursuits of walking, wildlife and bird-watching in the nature reserves and national parks, and along the 20 miles of Bournemouth Coast footpath; and active pursuits such as cycling, sailing, rowing, canoeing, windsurfing, kite-surfing and sea kayaking. Popular also for touring, Southampton, the Isle of Wight, Salisbury and Stonehenge are all within reasonable travelling distance. Dorset features some excellent museums, with world leading centres at Bovington (The Tank Museum, telling the history of military vehicles), and the Russell Cotes Museum and Art Gallery in Bournemouth.
