The cottage was very comfortable. Close to the main shopping area and restaurants. Wonderful kitchen with everything we needed. Bedrooms were a nice size. We were very satisfied with our stay at Holly Cottage.

Holly Cottage is in the centre of Totnes Market Town but remains a tranquil relaxing space. The cottage is perfectly located for all public transport, train, bus and ferry.Kitchen/Dining areaThe country kitchen boasts an impressive Rangemaster oven, a fridge freezer, washing machine and microwave. It has a breakfast bar, sofa and a large table that can seat 6 people . It’s got plenty of pots, pans and cooking equipment, making it feel like a home from home. Living RoomThe Living room is cosy but spacious and the focus of the room is an open fire, lovely for winter nights. A comfortable sofa and chair to seat four people. For entertainment there is Freeview TV, DVD, Playstation 2 and MP3 Dock. Or you can choose from one of the books or board games, cards. BedroomsThe master bedroom has two windows providing plenty of natural light. As well as a comfortable double bed, chair, a dressing table and wardrobe. Bedroom two has twin beds, chest of drawers and plenty of storage with a fitted wardrobe.High Quality bed linen and towels are provided, with the exception of beach towels which you'll need to bring with you.BathroomNext to bedroom two is the family sized bathroom. As well as a basin and toilet, it has a newly fitted shower over the bath and a bath screen. Bath mat provided.ConservatoryAt the top of the stairs between the two bedrooms is a small conservatory where doors can be opened and you can sit at the foot of Totnes Castle.

Totnes is a wonderful town and has a reputation for being one of the most diverse and creative towns in the country. Heritage and culture are the main attractions and it’s even been voted as one of the ten funkiest town in the world in a survey of travel writers. It’s located on the banks of the beautiful River Dart and nestles between the rolling hills of the South Hams, an Area of Outstanding Beauty. The town is steeped in history and was once the capital of the South West of England. How to get there
By Car: Easy access from A38 - about 4.5 hours drive from central London By Train: Totnes Train Station 0.5km is a short walk (mainline station with trains every hour from London) By Air: Exeter Airport 35km is about 40mins drive/60min train, serving most UK airports/Europe destinations By Road: From the M5 motorway you’re in South Devon. As soon as you cross the Exeter Estuary the road then becomes the A38 Exeter-Plymouth road take the exit to Totnes. Come off the A38 at the Buckafastleigh slip road where Totnes is clearly signposted. By Train: Take the train to Totnes from London Paddington (2.45hours). Holly Cottage is a 10minute walk from the station.
