*Always cheaper if you book directly on our own website* Mallock Cottage is an AA 5 Star 2 bedroom holiday cottage peacefully tucked away within stunning Cockington Village and Country Park. It has 2 bedrooms, one ensuite and a twin with private bathroom. There is a comfortable lounge and log stove, conservatory dining room and an impressive contemporary kitchen. Outside there is parking for 2 cars and a very private sunny deck overlooking the gardens with comfortable seating. The cottage is in a rural location but just a short stroll through the old water meadows to the beach and Torquay beyond. There is a local pub, crafts centre, manor house and 3 tea gardens in this famous thatched village whilst the surrounding South Devon area has many attractions and seasonal events. Excellent cottage

Beautifully appointed cottage, comfortable, well equipped and clean. Benefit of a log burner for the chilly nights but was able to use the sun trap patio during the day. Perfect!! Quiet location in centre of village, will definitely return

Rural Cockington village nestling at the heart of Cockington Country Park, 450 acres of nature trails, walks and bike tracks with Manor House crafts centre, cafes gift shops and local pub and just a short stroll to the sea and Torquay beyond.

Getting around

Public transport is great in Torbay with the number 12 bus taking you around the Bay every 10 minutes. There is a village bus operating Mon to Fri down to Torquay harbour area where there are boats across the Bay to Brixham and further along the coast to Dartmouth. The train from Torquay (half a mile away) takes you to Exeter via Newton Abbot, Teignmouth and beyond
