This detached cottage is located one mile from the village of Bleddfa and can sleep six people in three bedrooms.Ploony Cottage is a detached cottage just outside the village of Bleddfa, just seven miles from Knighton. The cottage sleeps six people and has one king-size double bedroom with an additional day bed that can be made up on request, one room with a super king-size bed that can be unzipped into two single beds, plus one room with twin beds and a family bathroom. Also in the cottage is a fitted kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with a woodburner and doors onto the decked veranda. Outside is off road parking for three cars and an enclosed garden with a patio, furniture and a six-seater hot tub. Note: Water supply from spring water. Note: Stream in garden is small but unfenced, children to be supervised when outside. Note: Cottage accessed by 1 mile drive, not suitable for low-suspension cars. Region: Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South. Town: Bleddfa is a small quiet village in the rolling hills of Radnorshire, on the edge of Radnor Forest with walks through the village to a view point above. A lovely village, with a quaint pub, is just a short drive from the popular market town of Knighton, which is situated on Offa's Dykes, opening up fabulous walking along the border and into the stunning countryside of the Shropshire Hills AONB dotted with pretty historic villages.More

Remote, quiet and beautiful

If you need to recharge your batteries and reenagage with nature then this is your place. Well presented, authentic Welsh cottage , quite literally an escape from frenetic and stressful life, this place can restore your core beliefs and ready you for whatever is next!

2nd Christmas spent in ploony cottage

Just had our 2nd Christmas in ploony cottage and can't wait to go back. It's a perfect retreat for us, off the beaten track with beautiful country side views and wonderful walks.. The snow on Boxing Day made it extra special.

Midweek break

This is our second visit in 18months. A wonderfully appointed hidden gem in the Welsh countryside. Hot tub, wonderful log burner, walks and great position to see castles, pubs and tea rooms.
