The Neuk is a lovely detached larch clad property set in the lush glen of Achmore, amid the breathtaking scenery of Lochcarron. With views to Loch Kishorn and the Applecross hills.This is a great base for exploring nearby places such as Plockton, Dornie, Applecross, Torridon, Glenelg and The Isle of Skye.
The house is spacious and comfortably furnished. There is a large lounge with a log burning stove and plenty of logs supplied. Lovely views from the upstairs bedrooms. 1 double room and 2 single rooms. 2 Bathrooms, a lovely big bathroom upstairs with bath and separate shower and W.C. Achmore is a rural highland village situated in a lush scenic glen near Stromeferry. The village of Plockton is 6 miles away.
There are lovely forest walks and cycling nearby, also you can walk down to Fernaig shore half a mile directly from the house.
The local store in Balmacara is 6 miles away. The nearest station is Stromeferry - 1 mile away or Kyle 10 miles.
The nearest supermarket is a co-op in Kyle.

How to get there
Past the castle travelling towards Kyle of Lochalsh on the A87 you will take a right turn onto the A890 signposted Locharron/Gairloch. Over the hill follow the road about 6 miles and you will see a sign for Achmore on the left. Follow a single track road into the village then take a right turn if coming from the main road (opposite the village hall) signposted Fernaig (you will see a red post box). Take this road about 50 yards and then turn left. The road forks into two tracks - take the right track another 50 yards and The Neuk is the second house on the left. You can open the gate and park on the driveway opposite the house. Please shut the gate as cattle sometimes roaming.
