Perfect setting perfect location. If I owned it I'd live there. Clean and tidy, fantastic. Just my wife and I visited but the property could have taken 4 more people easy. Easy private parking, pub was a short walk was a great weekend.

About the neighbourhood
Bodiam is a small village boasting a magnificent castle with moat and grounds. Visitors on foot are welcome to wander through the grounds and around the castle and are usually admitted free to the many events that are held here throughout the year. However, there is a small charge to go into the castle itself. The River Rother runs through the village and in peak season a ferry operates from Bodiam Castle to Northiam. The castle is run by the National Trust and has a tea room and giftshop. The Castle Inn offers a warm welcome and serves a wide range of excellent food. The KESR station that is visible from the cottage hosts many events incuding The Hop Pickers Weekend. Visitors can also go from Bodiam to Tenterden by steam train. Tenterden is a charming old market town and offers a wide range of shops.
