Situated in the heart of the Ontario Michipicoten River Wilderness, Whitefish Lodge is your home away from home. Complete with all amenities. The Lodge has free Wi-Fi internet access too. We are located directly on Whitefish Lake with access to over 35 miles of the Shikwamka/Michipicoten River system including Manitowic Lake that offers hundreds of miles of pristine unspoiled shoreline. Launch your boat right at the lodge or we offer boat and motor rental. If hunting is your interest then join us for Bear starting August 15th. Our bear management area is over 250 square miles with almost 2 dozen baited stands. Grouse Hunting starts Sep 15 and the archery Moose Hunt starts on Sep 20. Sightseeing is a must at Whitefish Lodge and many waterfalls, cliffs and panoramic views are waiting to be discovered. Don't forget your camera. . July is a great month for families with the temperatures usually in the mid 70's. Kids and adults alike love to fish for Walleye right off the dock. You probably wont get the big one from the dock but you will catch a mess of "eaters" for a Canadian Shore Lunch. Bring your bikes and ride along the 3 mile private road. Bring your ATV as we have access to hundreds of miles of logging trails directly from the lodge. Don't forget your GPS and helmets. Breathtaking views and clean updated cabins

My husband and I just stayed there for 6 days. This was our favorite vacation ever. Cabin #4 was very comfortable with the deck facing the lake. We rented a boat so we could fish and also discover all of Whitefish Lake and the adjoining Manitowik Lake. During the boats rides, I felt like the kid on the Golden Pond movie traveling all over both lakes. We caught enough fish to have 3 fish dinners while there and take some home. Highly recommend this Lodge, the owner and staff.
