Three bedroom holiday cottage to rent in Noss Mayo on the Yealm estuary on the South Devon coast. Just yards from the water. An ideal base for family holidays and for walking, boating or fishing. The house was built in the 1850's by the Revelstoke Estate. The house was built for our grandfather who was at various times the Yealm Harbourmaster, the skipper of the Kitley Belle and a boatbuilder. On arrival you will find all the beds made up with duvets, pillowcases, duvet covers and sheets. Tea towels and towels are provided. Our summerhouse is across the road with superb views over the Yealm. There is a table with 6 chairs and a barbecue. There is space for sitting in the summerhouse, or outside under cover if the weather is not so good. Beautiful and relaxing location

Location location location

Next to estuary,pub,footpath with parking. Great location. Breakfast each morning at a bench overlooking the estuary. Cottage basic but has everything you need. Great walking. Fantastic base for exploring the area. Nice kitchen needed a good scrub though

Hidden gem, peaceful and scenic.

Nestling round the beautiful Yealm estuary Noss Mayo and the sister village of Newton Ferrers - Newton has a Co-op, Post Office, pub, butcher and a chemist. At high tide you can walk around in about 20 minutes. At most low tides you can walk across the voss in five minutes. Noss Mayo itself has tennis courts and an excellent play park just now rebuilt post Covid.
