The cottage is situated in a small ancient quiet Fishing Village, approximately 50 yards from the harbour and is only a few minutes from Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire,. Recently refurbished and extended to a nice standard, with modern interior.
We bought No 7 Mid Street, Rosehearty, in 2006. It was bought as a 1 bedroom cottage, which we purchased for some where to stay whilst we were fully renovating The Creel Cottage next door. Once the renovation of The Creel Cottage was complete, I then decided to renovate West Rocks Cottage and add another 2 Bedrooms A new bathroom and kitchen were fitted, all doors replaced, and fully decorated throughout, and the rooms are spacious
This is now a compact,modern and comfortable holiday cottage.

Perfect little cottage for our needs with pleasant rooms & a lovely lady who looked after keys showed us round. Downside was there was no WiFi connection, although that might be the area & the tin opener needs upgrading! Other than that we would highly...More

About the neighbourhood
The Royal Burgh of Rosehearty is situated 4 miles west of Fraserburgh, with a population of approx 1300.
It has one shop (50 yards away),two hotels with bars and restaurants and also one pub,, Butchers/Post Office and a 9 hole Golf Club, Pitsligo Castle built in 1424.
Rosehearty is one of the oldest sea ports in Scotland dating back to the 14th Century. During the nineteenth century herring boom, there were 12 curing houses and its fishing fleet supported 600 people.
It is also 4 miles from New Aberdour, 18 miles from Macduff and 19 miles from Banff and 48 miles from Aberdeen.
Following the coast road into Pittulie and Sandhaven, the seals lie sunbathing every day on the rocks just past Sandhaven Harbour.
