Our farmhouse cottage is the perfect place from which to explore this amazing region.we are situated 15km from Carrick on shannon, close to pristine lakes, beautiful mountains and the picturesque villages of Keshcarrigan and Fenagh.This peaceful sanctuary's the perfect base from which to explore the many attractions this spectacular county has to offer. A rejuvenating retreat for couples,fishermen,solo adventurers, families (with kids) and furry friends(pets)The farmhouse is very close to the Ballinamore Ballyconnell canal and to Castlefore lake.Directly behind our cottage is our farm.

Enjoy the beautiful countryside
Very nice cottage in a beautiful location near canals, lakes and gentle hills. Great countryside for walking and cycling. I strongly recommend!

Annual Fishing Trip
Well what can I say except brilliant. Myself, my son and a close friend stayed at Castlefore Cottage for 8 nights
It was a brilliant fishing trip but I must mention our host
Geraldine was by far the most welcoming host we have ever had the pleasure to meet and I have been coming to Ireland for over 30 years
The cottage was everything we needed and the welcome food/drink package was very unexpected
We had the pleasure of meeting other family members and we were welcomed by them all
Once again thank you Geraldine and I hope you have many more guests in the future who can sample your Irish charm

Fishing trip
What can I say but amazing! Geraldine went above and beyond to make it all pleasant.
I've stayed in a few places over the years and this 2night stay was great.
Will diffently be booking again.
With the canal being so close you can go for a walk 🚶♀️.
