No keys, no worry! -there is a key, you can lock cabin if you wish; but why bother?- nobody knows you are there! First visit with me at the top house Villa Ohakiri; there I can meet / greet & orientate you; then down you drive 750m to your piece of paradise. Don't worry about the access road: it has been fixed & is good for all cars now; even Evil Knievel could manage it!

About the neighbourhood
Whangaroa is home to some of New Zealand's best sights - the Puketi Forest with its towering kauri trees and native birds; the Cavalli Islands and the Rainbow Warrior's final resting place; the family-friendly Tauranga Bay and the surfers' paradise at Taupo Bay; Butterfly Bay where monarch butterflies overwinter; and the 'million dollar views' on the Wainui Road coastal drive.

Kaeo (the nearest village) has a Four Square supermarket, petrol stations, a hairdresser, boutique, coffee shops, an Indian restaurant and a takeaway.

Geographically, the harbour and village of Whangaroa are just a short drive from the golf courses at Kauri Cliffs, Carrington, Kerikeri, Waitangi and Whangaroa itself. Matauri Bay is the launching pad for boat trips around the Cavalli isl...
