Cottage has living, dining, 3 doble and 1 single bedrooms with a bath, hot water, porchs and patios, equiped with complete households. There is a mineral water pool and a small pond, walking paths and horses. During the day we offer horse backriding and exploration tours to obeserve orchids, birds and butterflies. At night observation of the moon, stars, and constellations. A peaceful paradise to enjoy the beauty and magic of nature in the Andes by the Equator.

QUILLOTURO COUNTRY COTTAGES is located inside the Puluahua crater, surrouded by the Pululahua Geo-botanical reserve area, in the Mitad del Mundo sector, 15 km. North of the Equator and about 35 km. from Quito, the capital of Ecuador. The Pululahua crater is a volcanic caldera formed about 2500 years ago as consequence of the eruption of the Pululahua volcano. This volcanic caldera was declared as the first national park in continental Ecuador in year 1966. Later in 1979 changed the name to Geo-botanical reserve area due to the more of 2000 especies of flora and fauna encountered there.
