Swan Cottage is available year round, with short breaks offered between September and June.
It is privately owned, and we can therefore usually accommodate unusual changeover days and durations.
During July and August, 7 night durations, starting Saturdays, are available.
We enjoy high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat bookings, and our visitors benefit from a very good standard of comfort, a well equipped kitchen and private courtyard garden.
We accept up to two well behaved pets at a small additional cost.
Unlike many Horning rental properties, we are not located directly on the river (but across the road from the river and village green), and are therefore safe for young children and pets.
A travel cot and high chair are available at a small extra charge.

Stayed here for a week at the end of September and loved it! The cottage itself is so lovely, it was spotlessly clean upon arrival and had everything you would need, a real home from home. The beds were very comfortable and the showers were...More

In addition to the weekly and nightly rates above, I also offer a short break (3 or 4 nights) at 70% of the weekly cost. Please contact me with your requirements and I will price it for you.

Payment can be made by personal cheque, Paypal* or direct bank transfer (preferred method).
* For Paypal payments, please add 3.5% to the total cost to allow for processing fees.

Prices include all gas, electricity and bed linen. Towels can be arranged at a cost of £8 per person.
Up to two well behaved pets are allowed at £30 for the first pet, £50 for two.
High chair and travel cot available to hire at £25 per item.

About the neighbourhood
Horning is a picturesque waterside broadland village and if you only visit one Broadland village, then Horning has to be that one. The village lines the northern bank of the River Bure, stretching for about a mile. There are waterside pubs, shops, restaurants, tea-rooms, boat trips and other attractions to enjoy. Horning Ferry is on the outskirts of the village, about a mile along Lower Street. It is well worth a walk on a fine day and there is a marina, leisure club and the Ferry Inn.

Horning is approximately 3 miles from Wroxham, 'The Capital of The Broads', with its many shops and attractions.

Nearby are the Broads of Wroxham, Ranworth, with its wildlife centre, and Salhouse, and the ruins of St Benet's Abbey founded in the 9th Century.
