If you want to get away from it all for a quiet holiday, this spacious caravan is ideal for couples or up to 3 people. It is situated in a grassy paddock with views across the orchard. I have just two holiday lets on our family home and smallholding. Shottenden is a rural hamlet near the medieval village of Chilham nestled in the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The historic city of Canterbury is only 7 miles and there are a wide choice of pubs and restaurants. If you enjoy wildlife, walking and cycling Orchard Cottage Holidays will be perfect for you. It is fully equipped for your stay, excluding personal bath towels, there are playing cards and a selection of books and DVDs. You have your own deck, patio furniture and BBQ. Please note the single bed is narrower at 2ft. There is one allocated parking space at the front of the orchard, access is via a short gravel path. I do not cater for children 5 years and under. Additional beds are not available. I am a quiet site which allows guests and wildlife to enjoy the orchard in peace. Guests are welcome to join me at feeding time with the animals. nice accomodation; but no bath/hand towels in price ;excessive security and rules

The accommodation was very nice and in a lovely location. However on arrival (Sun) the owner said the shower in the unit was not working well and, as it was a long weekend (and wouldn't get fixed until Tuesday,) could we cope with the warm...More

Absolute perfection

We stayed here while visiting family,and it was a perfect base.The mobile home was comfortable and well equipped and the setting was gorgeous.Beautiful views and peace and tranquility.The owners were lovely-nothing was too much trouble.Absolutely perfect.

A perfect setting for a restful holiday.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in "The Everglade" at Orchard Cottage . The accommodation was very clean with a yummy cake ,tea and coffee, waiting for us on our arrival. With views over the beautiful orchard, we wouldn't think twice about returning !

Situated in a rural location with lovely walks and scenery, great for relaxing. There are local attractions nearby suitable for families and couples and nice pubs for eating. Canterbury is only 20 minutes away and it is easy to have a day trip to London or even France. The orchard is quiet and peaceful and makes a great base to explore Kent from.
