If you want to get away from it all for a quiet holiday, this spacious caravan is ideal for up to four people. It is situated in a grassy paddock with views across the orchard. I have just two holiday lets on our family home and smallholding. Shottenden is a rural hamlet near the medieval village of Chilham nestled in the Kent Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The historic city of Canterbury is only 7 miles and there are a wide choice of pubs and restaurants. If you enjoy wildlife, walking and cycling Orchard Cottage Holidays will be perfect for you. There are beautiful views, footpaths and a wood all on our doorstep for you to enjoy. In each mobile there is a pack of information about local attractions and facilities for you to enjoy during you stay. It is fully equipped for your stay, excluding personal bath towels, there are board games, cards and a selection of books and DVDs. You have your own deck, patio furniture and BBQ. There is one allocated parking space at the front of the orchard, access is via a short gravel path. I do not cater for children 5 years and under. Additional beds are not available. As a quiet site this allows guests and wildlife to enjoy the orchard in peace. Guests are welcome to join me at feeding time with the animals. Discounts and special offers available please ask.More

About the neighbourhood
Situated in a rural location with lovely walks and scenery, great for relaxing. There are local attractions nearby suitable for families and couples and nice pubs for eating. Canterbury is only 20 minutes away and it is easy to have a day trip to London or even France. The orchard is quiet and peaceful and makes a great base to explore Kent from.
Getting around
There is a train station located in Chilham which is 10 mins by car and a 40 minutes walk. This gives a fast service to London.
