Holiday Rental House
It is a converted barn which used to house cows and thus it's name the cow house. It is situated just on the edge of the somerset levels and also only 10 minutes drive to the beach. There is plenty to do and see in this area. Cycling and walking , visiting one of the many reserves on this very flat area as we are on the edge of the peat moors. The barn has had a sympathetic conversion still retaining some of its unique character but in a comfortable modern way, there is no straw!...It is a converted barn which used to house cows and thus it's name the cow house. The cow House is comfortable, well presented and perfect for a holiday in the Somerset area. There was everything we needed. Sally was there to help us when we needed some extra information. Cheddar Gorge is in easy reach as is Wells, Burnham on Sea...More

Highly recommend this beautiful little barn ... Beautiful inside and out ... very comfortable beds, milk tea & coffee had been left for our arrival , even had Christmas decorations ! everything you need for a short break . Many thanks Sally and family .

This property is a gem. We stayed for three nights and would highly recommend. The village of Mark is a great base for touring the area, the coast is a short drive away, Wells, Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge are all within easy reach too....More

Mark is said to be the 2nd longest village in the country. It is a pretty village with two lovely country pubs 10 mins walk away from Cow house both serving lovely food. There is a river, village church, bowls club, shop, garage and iron mongers. Just down the road 10 mins away is Burnham on sea, a lovely little seaside town with 7 miles of beach, Weston, Bath , Bristol are all under an hour away.
