Casa La Vina is a lovely very secluded villa set in the Montes de Malaga. Its rustic charm and peaceful location ensure a relaxing holiday surrounded by vines and olive trees. The pool and outside dining areas guarantee a totally enjoyable holiday. If you wish, the coast is only 40 minutes away where there are numerous restaurants and shops. The villa is reached in 10 minutes by a well maintained and graded country road through the local vineyards. What better way is there than to spend your time swimming and sunbathing during the day and then a leisurely meal with a glass of wine during the evening whilst looking over the stunning mountain views.

This region is beautiful, with lots of lovely places to visit, with small local towns as well as larger places such as Torre Del Mar and Nerja which are stunning and are a must to visit. The nearest decent supermarket is half an hour away,...More

About the neighbourhood
Malaga seems at first an uninviting place. It's the second city of the south (after Seville), with a population of half a million, and is also one of the poorest: an estimated one in four of the workforce are jobless. Though the clusters of high-rises look pretty grim as you approach, the city does have some compelling attractions. The elegant central zone is now largely pedestrianised with the focal and marble-paved Calle Larios – lined with fashionable stores – its most elegant thoroughfare. Do have tapas or a meal at one of the many excellent bars or restaurants. Bar Pimpi near the Picasso museum is always worth a visit.
