The home's quiet rural setting with established trees and gardens, contains an abundance of natives and introduced species including mature Rhododendrons, Camelias, Pin oaks, Maples, Dogwoods, flowering Cherries, Roses and Hydrangeas, and provides a haven for native birds. Listen for the tui , fantail , quail and pheasant's call.
