About the neighbourhood
One of the National Parks most famous villages near to the Great Yorkshire Forest of Dalby. Picture postcard village with plenty of pubs, cafes, walks, amenities and open space. The bungalow is off a small private track and enjoys a great deal of seclusion and no overlooking into the south facing French doors of the lounge and dining kitchen, which are relatively open plan.. It is handily near to the village centre and a stones throw from the children's playpark.
Getting around
A bus stop with timetable is in the village centre. Train and bus station in Malton 8 miles away us a hub to most cities and places. Pickering has lots of small taxi firms but Station Taxis in Malton have the best short notice availability. Trip advisor will not let us list their number here.
Car advised
How to get there
Airport: Leeds: 70.0 km
Railway: Malton: 12.0 km
Ferry: Hull: 70.0 km
Once in Thornton Dale from the centre head towards Pickering on the A170. Opposite the far end of the classic car garage on the right turn left up Roxby Road. After soon passing the children's playpark, take the second left of two single lane tracks. It is immediately after the first which is on a sign as 'Archway Lane'. Our lane is unnamed. Follow it round to the right 30 yards and park on the private gravelled parking area for your accommodation. Space for two cars, park at top if unsure or early as can be a long reverse out.
