The Grange is a majestic former Georgian Rectory, set in seventeen acres of private parkland in the attractive Somerset village of Horsington. The house has a stone-flagged main hall, four elegant reception rooms, a farmhouse kitchen with four-oven Aga, and eight bedrooms accommodating up to eighteen people. Next to the house is the Dovecote with an additional two bedrooms with room to sleep a further four people, which is self-contained with its own family room, kitchen and bathroom. The main house also boasts two games rooms containing a three-quarter size snooker table, dart board and table tennis. Outside, in the magnificent formal gardens, there is an open air heated swimming pool (available between May and October), with nearby hot tub and sauna. It's the second time we've stayed at this house. The house is beautiful. Su has very been responsive and helpful during our stay, before and after.

Just returned from a 2 night break at The Grange for a girls weekend away. The house is set in a beautiful little village surrounded by picturesque houses and plenty of pubs a short drive away (one at the bottom of the lane). The property...More
