Considering you are in the middle of Olonzac, this is an oasis of peace and quiet.
The gites are located in a large garden with a large swimming pool very close by. The garden is very secluded from the neighbouring buildings and alleyways, ensuring privacy and security.
The gites themselves are modest but still very comfortable and spacious.
The owners are the most delightful couple who do everything they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
Olonzac is a lively town at times, but generally it's like many other sleepy French villages. There is a very good bolangerie close by, a Butcher, small supermarket and a couple of cafe/bars.
Olonzac also has a few good restaurants.
Homps is within easy walking distance which is popular for the Canal de Midi.
Thoroughly recommended for either a short or long stay.

Our friendly hosts, Bene and Freddy, made our stay so comfortable and were very helpful with restaurant recommmendations etc. The complimentary wine from a nearby vineyard on our arrival went down a treat.
The apartment was ideal and of a very good standard. A two minute walk to the boulangerie in the morning to enjoy our al fresco breakfasts. The swimming pool right outside our door was wonderful. Big hot tub as well. Street parking was no problem.
Olonzac is a good centre to explore the region - Carcassonne, Canal du Midi, Minerve, Narbonne etc.
