Cabin Holiday Rental
A traditional trapper style log Cabin, the perfect base for a Yukon wilderness experience. Located only 40 km from Whitehorse in the Takhini Valley, on a private 10 hectar property. The cabin is set up in a secluded spot, surrounded by open spruce and poplar stands. It is a great place for a retreat with a sauna next to it. It also provides a perfect base for excursions into the nearby Ibex Valley, a canoe trip on the Takhini River or a trip to Kluane National Park. From the window you look at Pyramid Mountain, the highest Peak of the Ibex Ridge. Built with round logs by the owner, scribe fit, with lots of attention to detail, this cabin makes you feel like set back into the Gold Rush days. From the cabin you have access to trails into the backcountry in all seasons. Working in the Adventure Tourism Business, we are happy to share our Yukon experience and lifestyle with our guests. About the neighbourhood
Being located at the edge of the wilderness, this location provides endless opportunities for all kinds of activities. Hiking Trails are accessible right from the cabin, for skiing and snowshoeing in the winter and hiking or Mt. biking in the summer. Takhini River and Kusawa Lake are great paddling destinations close by. Between October and March it is a perfect place to get the chance of seeing Northern Lights right from the ´cabin window. For touring the greater area you want a vehicle. Great excursions are Takhini Hotsprings, the Game Farm, Kluane National Park ( just 1 hr. drive) or following the Yukon Quest in February.
